Sitorai Mokhi Khosa Palace in Bukhara

Sitorai Mokhi Khosa Palace in Bukhara is the country residence of the last Emir of Bukhara Mir Said Muhammad Alimkhan, built in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The best Bukhara masters of the time, along with two Russian engineers Margulis and Sakovitch were involved in construction. This palace today is used as a museum of arts and crafts. Palace Sitorai Mokhi Khosa, which in translation from Farsi means "similar to the stars and the moon."

The palace consists of two parts, the old and the new building. The old part of the palace was built in the XVIII century, to this day the palace has not been preserved. The new part of the palace began to be built at the end of the XIX century, and finished at the beginning of the XX century.
