Ulugbek Madrasah in Bukhara
The Ulugbek Madrasah in Bukhara was built in 1417 by the best builders (Najmiddin Bukhari and Ismail Isfagani), which makes up a single complex with the Madrasah of Abdulazizkhan. The madrasah has two aivans with an inner mosque and a "darsxana".
The students admitted to study in the Ulugbek Madrasah studied mathematics, astronomy, religion and Arabic. Many graduates of madrasas became prominent thinkers and poets. Nowadays, Ulugbek Madrasah is considered one of the famous monuments in Bukhara.
